About the Role
As an Associate Python Engineer, you’ll begin your journey with a structured 6-month probation program. During this time, you’ll gain hands-on experience with the Frappe Framework, learn from experienced engineers, and work on real projects that make an impact. Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master the Frappe Framework with full guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with global developers.
- Develop clean, secure, and scalable Python-based applications.
- Work on real-world client and internal projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with team members to brainstorm solutions and build features.
- Participate in code reviews and improve your technical skills continuously.
- Apply best practices in security, architecture, and performance.
Learning Timeline
- Month 1: Learn the Frappe Framework with full support from the rtCamp team.
- Months 2–3: Contribute to open-source Frappe projects and real-world codebases.
- Months 4–6: Collaborate with senior engineers on internal and client-facing projects.
- After 6 months: Promotion opportunities based on performance and learning speed.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (CSS, JS, React).
- Previous web development experience.

- Shortlisting based on academic performance or open-source contributions.
- Interview Round 1 (5–10 minutes) to assess basic skills and interest.
- Interview Round 2 (30–60 minutes) for technical evaluation.

Package
- ₹25,000/month during probation

Career Progression
At rtCamp, career growth is structured but flexible.
- You will join as an Associate Python Engineer and focus on learning and contributing to open-source Frappe projects.
- After 6 months, successful associates are promoted to Software Engineer (Frappe), where they work on both open-source and client projects.
- After approximately 2 years, you can grow into a Senior Software Engineer role, where you’ll mentor new associates and handle more complex projects.
- After 4 years, you may become a Lead Software Engineer or an Engineering Manager, leading teams and driving major technical decisions.
- Internal job transfers (IJT) are available for those who want to explore roles in project management, marketing, sales, HR, or other engineering stacks.
